The Potting Shed Gift Shop is nestled in a beautifully renovated thatched cottage beside the Rose Terrace Tea Room. Inside, you’ll find a delightful selection of gifts and treats thoughtfully curated accessories and other surprises. Browse fresh flowers, handmade ceramics, delicious home-baked treats, and an assortment of bottled farm produce.

Enjoy a relaxed dining experience at our temporary restaurant, Firehorse. The menu is classic, with a modern twist, serving all of Stables favourites with some new seasonal additions. Sip on delicious wines, enjoy breath-taking views of the Hottentots Holland mountain range under the oak trees in the temporary glass marquee. 

Rose Terrace Tea Room

Set beside a beautiful rose garden, the Rose Terrace Tea Room offers homemade cakes, savoury pies and quiches in a relaxed indoor or outdoor setting. Ideal for gatherings with friends or a peaceful retreat with seating both indoors and outdoors. No bookings are required. 

Picnics & The Creamery

Set beneath the canopy of majestic camphor trees, our luxury “white tablecloth” picnics invite you to relax and enjoy a deliciously prepared picnic basket in beautifully shaded, tranquil surroundings. 

Delicious homemade ice cream, baked goods, old-fashioned sweets and freshly brewed coffee awaits at The Creamery situated next to the picnic kiosk.

WIne Tasting Room, Tours & Excursions

We have a selection of incredible wines to taste, each presented by one of our passionate Vergelegen wine ambassadors in our wine tasting room on the estate. Taste all of our wines in a gorgeous setting overlooking the mountains and gardens. 

Our tours and excursions depart daily from the tasting room and include the popular fauna & flora tour, cellar tour and garden & heritage tour.
